When I was younger, I thought the 10 commandments were these cold, controlling rules meant to keep us small and obedient. I thought they were all about punishment, fear, and shame. You know — that old “watch out or you’re gonna get zapped” energy.
But today? Spirit cracked me wide open with a whole new download.
The commandments weren’t really about control. They were about alignment. Vibration. Protecting your soul field. Keeping you in harmony with your true essence — your divine spark.
Here’s what came through:
✨ 1. No gods before me
This is not about some angry sky dad. It’s about not giving your power away. No idols. No false authorities. Not your job, not your partner, not even your own fears. You are Source embodied.
🔥 2. No graven images
Don’t freeze life into static forms. Spirit is alive. When you cling to rigid beliefs, you shut out the living, breathing magic that wants to flow through you.
💎 3. Don’t take the name in vain
Your words are spells. Your voice is creation. Stop using your words to curse yourself or others. Speak love. Speak life.
🌿 4. Honor the Sabbath
Rest is holy. You don’t need to grind 24/7. Take time to return to center, breathe, feel Spirit move inside you. That’s the real Sabbath.
❤️ 5. Honor your father and mother
Beyond your earthly parents, this is about honoring the divine masculine and feminine within you. Your own sacred union.
🌱 6. You shall not kill
Life force is sacred. Don’t snuff out your own dreams. Don’t cut off your light. Don’t sabotage someone else’s glow either.
🤝 7. You shall not commit adultery
Stay true to yourself. Keep your soul agreements. Don’t abandon yourself for crumbs of external validation.
✨ 8. You shall not steal
Honor energy. Don’t take what isn’t yours — ideas, time, or light. Respect the sacred exchanges.
💬 9. You shall not bear false witness
Stop projecting illusions. Don’t distort your truth or anyone else’s. Let your words align with your heart.
💛 10. You shall not covet
Release the comparison trap. Your path is yours. Your blessings are encoded for you. You don’t need to chase what isn’t meant for you.
When you read these through new eyes, it’s like feeling an old, heavy coat fall off your shoulders. You realize:
✨ You’re not here to be controlled.
✨ You’re here to be free, radiant, whole.
✨ These “laws” are love letters from Spirit, teaching us to protect our energy and return home to ourselves.
