You were never broken. You were being initiated.
For years I called my body the problem. The diagnoses stacked up. The symptoms multiplied. The nervous system that wouldn’t regulate, the joints that wouldn’t cooperate, the fatigue that made simple things feel impossible.
I was doing everything right spiritually and my body kept saying no.
Then I read the Emerald Tablets.
Thoth describes two aspects of the human being that most people have never been taught to distinguish. The Ba — your eternal soul essence. The infinite part. The part that existed before this body and will exist after it. And the Ka — the vital force. The energetic blueprint that animates the physical form. Not the body itself but the signal running through it.
Your nervous system is your Ka.
Not a metaphor. The autonomic nervous system — the part that operates below conscious awareness, that regulates every organ, every breath, every heartbeat without your permission — that is the Ka in physical form. The system that bridges the voluntary and involuntary. The place where soul meets biology.
When Thoth says the Ba cannot fully manifest until the Ka is stable — he’s describing nervous system regulation as a spiritual prerequisite.
My conditions — the dysautonomia, the chronic pain, the fatigue — are Ka disruption. The signal is inconsistent. The vehicle keeps misfiring. And every single healing protocol I’ve been guided to for fifteen years as a Reiki master — grounding, frequency medicine, coherence practices, breathwork — is Ka stabilization work.
I wasn’t failing at my spiritual practice because my body was sick.
My spiritual practice was always the medicine my Ka was asking for.
The body isn’t the obstacle to your awakening. It’s the instrument through which your awakening becomes real in this dimension.
Thoth knew this 36,000 years ago.
Your nervous system has been asking you to listen — not fight — the whole time.
